Revolutionize Your Aviation Experience with SayWeather Online

In the world of aviation, where every second counts and safety is paramount, having reliable real-time weather information is essential for pilots and airport operators alike. At SayWeather, we understand these unique challenges and are proud to offer a solution that elevates your weather monitoring capabilities: SayWeather Online. Designed to work seamlessly with your existing SayWeather system, SayWeather Online delivers unparalleled convenience, accessibility, resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness making the SayWeather-enabled airport an even more desirable destination.

Why Enable SayWeather Online?

  1. Real-Time Weather at Your Fingertips
SayWeather Online revolutionizes the way you access weather data. With just a web browser on your phone, tablet or PC, you can tap into live weather updates that are crucial for flight planning and airport management. Stay ahead of the curve by receiving the latest METARs directly through popular EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) platforms such as ForeFlight, iFly EFB, 8Flight Aviator and Aviator Assistant with more integrations in the works. These advisory METARs for EFBs are updated several times an hour – not once per hour as with most published METARs.
  2. Easy Weather Updates via Text
Need a quick weather check while on the go? SayWeather Online has you covered. Simply text the identifier of any SayWeather-equipped airport to receive an instant METAR advisory. For those who require tailored alerts, our threshold texting feature allows you to set specific conditions. Want to know when winds at KGSL drop below 30 knots? All it takes is a simple “conditional” text, then relax knowing that you’ll receive a notification right when it matters most. This feature is perfect for busy pilots who need to stay informed without repeatedly sifting through weather data.
  3. Automated Alerts for Airport Operators
Managing an airport involves juggling multiple responsibilities, and SayWeather Online simplifies this process with automated alert texts. For example, you can set up notifications to remind you when maintenance is due for your weather station, ensuring your systems are always in peak condition. This proactive approach not only enhances safety but also extends the lifespan of your equipment. Additionally, for a small additional fee, dial-up advisories via phone can be enabled similar to dialing a published phone number for ASOS or AWOS.
  4. Customized Weather Pages
In addition to real-time updates, SayWeather Online will enhance your airport’s online presence. Our customizable weather webpage integrates seamlessly into your existing website, providing an easy-to-navigate interface for pilots and visitors alike. By accessing vital information at a glance, you can make better informed and more cost-effective decisions ensuring safe operations
  5. Real-time Cameras
To further enrich the user experience, you can incorporate real-time SayWeather Online weather cameras, offering a complete situational awareness experience. This means pilots and on-field personnel can “see” for themselves what the SayWeather Online data is relaying. These live feeds can also be easily integrated onto your webpage or social channels.
